Just had my first really successful print (Finally!) and I did it right after changing my screen for the first time. After the print, this was the scene:

Does this mean I have over/under tightened the screws on that side? They seem snug but I didnt go crazy. BTW here is the print that I did. :) Big one in the middle.

First of all those prints look Great!

But ouch...I hope the resin didn't leak inside. Most likely when you were replacing the film, the rubber gasket wasn't in the slot, or portion of it at least. Also, you do need to tighten the screws well. You can see from the side of the tank when the gap is pretty much closed up.

Check your film too, maybe it has a hole in it?

Cool, Ill give it another go tomorrow and see if it stops.

For puddles like that, whats the best way to clean the protus reason so it doesnt leave any slick residue?

That was a serious leak. You might want get inside and clean up also. I bet there is some resin in there. Blot most of it up with paper towels. Then use 90% alcohol with paper towels for all but the Quartz top and side window. Use pec pads. You then may want to use a damp towel with water and Dawn detergent. Be careful not to scratch the mirror inside. Use Pec-Pads on this also. Good luck.

If the mirror is clean, best not to touch the mirror. From the photo it doesn't look like any resin leaked inside.

If you would like to open it up and check inside, contact support for instructions.

Okay, Ive ordered my pecpads and from the looks of it nothing went inside. Mirror is clean. Ive tightened that sides screws and Im just going to let it rest on a paper towel for a few hours to see if it continues to leak.

I think it would be hard to get on the mirror because of it's position. But I would think it ran under the top plate and may be on the metal part that tilts away. This could cause it to stick during a print. Look real close. Maybe run a print to see it tilt and look for resin.

If you are using the plastic VAT you might want to check to see if it has cracked at one of the screw holes. I had a leak similar to this and I noticed that my VAT was split.
