After post curing it well, try sticking the print in baby powder for a few hours.
I hope some others chime in because I know many people use a variety of silicones with proto.
silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
Useful thing to know. Will try to extra curing and baby powder, see how it looks then.
Thanks

Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
I don't get reaction with Emerald Green and Wax cast , my RTV's come out fine , but the proto must have different elements because I cured it overnight in the nail box and still got reaction ,the rtv stuck to the proto on the surface, Reason I used the proto was because I was told you could file and polish it then make the mold , which I did , then cured it for another 30 minutes after that , but still got the reaction ?? maybe the proto isn't for me if I cant RTV with clear silicon , I need clear

Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
We didn't have any problem with this in a test run some time back.
No particular care was exercised in curing either - as this was prior to getting my uv box.
Unfortunately, I don't have the resin details to hand at present.
What I do know is that there are a few different curing chemistries for RTVs. I suppose these may differ in their sensitivity to Proto. On the plus side at least some RTV chemistries work very well. Small consolation if you have bulk that does not though.

Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
I have not tried proto resin so not sure of reaction to mold material. I use a clear silicon rubber mold material my freemen company.
Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
yes the freeman is what I used and got Bad results with the proto , but no issue with green which is hard to grow without fails or wax cast which cant be filed or polished before I RTV it but easier to grow
I did overnight cure in nail box with the proto
and overnight cure with the freeman at least 12 hours of ea .

This is how rubber looks made from solus proto after post curing and dipping in baby powder. I tried Emerald and cherry, no problem with those, I guess I have to leave proto resin behind.

hope pics come threw , never posted pic on this sight before , but this is my result , I had polished the proto before molding , and after removing the model from the RTV mold , silicon that either didn't cure or reacted with the rtv, the rtv came off with me rubbing it away with my finger , also that's way my model looks so shinny and lines free

Re: silicone rubber does not cure solus proto resin
Cold silicone mould works! Trick was to cure it properly and dip it into baby powder, that solved the problem! Images below shows result taking a mold from solus proto resin. Thank you guys for sharing the knowledge.
