Minium computer

What is the minimum computer to run the Solus. I have it running on an old Pentium 4 with 2.5 gig rams. upgraded from XP to window 7 and newer Amd graphic card. Could this failures problems with trying to print 42xy. I don't have much problems at 25xy.

Just read FAQ, but is this my problem with printing at 42xy

It would help if you posted a few photos of the failure you're getting at 42xy. Possible that you just need to increase the exposure a bit.

By the way, you're not forgetting to select the 42xy option on the Configure Slicing Profile page right? That bumps up all the exposure settings so they work on 42xy.

If you are getting prints at 25xy, then it's not the computer. You are most likely not selecting the correct settings, like outlined in my previous post.

Yes always change to 42xy. This is best so fair and I changed to vista laptop, on this post it was a little better. It prints good at 25xy

Now am thinking I should of tried my good desktop. Before I purchase this one. After going to three difference Best Buy today. Next I am going to try pieces I've printed at 25xy on the 42xy and see if the print.

This is the Laptop Emil recommended to me. I strictly use it with the Solus. I have everything turned off on the computer that might be a issue. WiFi, Updates, Going to sleep Etc. I havent had any issues with this computer at all. The only time it has been on line is when Emil checked a few things out for me and made a few tweaks. Oh and take off the McAfee it is a royal pain in the a$$!!!

I do think I will add some more ram memory this week to help with the larger files.
