Sounds dumb but is there a specific way to replace an old sheet of teflon?

I replaced the teflon after I noticed a small pin sized hole leaking resin onto the quartz. The new one is nice and clean with no scratches on it but its too tight you can hear the slide motor struggling after each slice. Is it a case of stretching the film with the build table?

Thanks

Joe,

Did you try installing the film the way I mentioned?
