Platform not level

Postby Jewelermdt » Sat Sep 05, 2015 7:25 pm

Tried a larger print today. Half of the supports stuck to the film half to the build plate. Front ones on plate back ones on film. I'm guessing the build platform should be flush with the quartz plate when starting? Mine is not level.

The difference from front to back is worse than the pictures looks. Just the angle I took the picture.

ok Will do. It was late Saturday afternoon when I discovered that. So what is the best email address. You and Emil. You should list this in your profile. PM don't always work cause I don't check the forum often during the day.

Ok got platform level. Looks like all the supports started but failed. What could cause this? New film in vat. New resin[img]

Supports are too thin and not enough of them.

Jewelermdt;

Sorry your having trouble, but thank you for posting your bracelet failure. I have been trying a few times to print bangles with this orientation.
Then looking at your pic, I am thinking why does yours print so big :o and mine doesn't. I forgot to print at the 41 micron resolution and having a
larger print size.

Is it just a matter of moving the projector back to the second setup and changing from 25 to 41 microns in the settings and printing?

We will be sending out the instructions for changing from 25 to 42 XY and calibrating the build platform very soon.
