Trapezoid Image Issues on InFocus Projector

If your InFocus video projector displays a slanted screen/output on initial bootup or when adjusting your grid for setup, you need to use the "Keystone" button on the remote control to correct.

From the manual(buried deep in the PDF):

"Use the KEYSTONE
buttons on the remote
control to correct
trapezoid image issues
(wider top or bottom). "

Can you please post some images of the slanted grid? You should not need to adjust the keystone and it should be on the default setting.

Slanted screen went away after a few clicks on the Keystone buttons.

Did not have a chance for a photograph.

Must be a pretty common adjustment since it has its own section of buttons on the remote control and was not part of the onscreen popup menu.

I had to adjust mine -5, i read some resolution is lost with that adjustment. I tried to tilt the projector (back) but surprisingly did not help trapezoidal issue.

Is this what you mean about a trapezoid shape being an issue?

In image 459 shows a 2 ism mm distortion from top to bottom, and am I supposed to be seeing the bolded lines at right and bottom, as seen on top and left? This image is with phone placed under the buildhead, to get as straight shot as possible.

Images are Slice view and 3d view showing printable area almost all the time, and out side random.

Thoughts?

I'm positive your lens is not sitting straight. Please make sure it is. You shouldn't be getting that bowing on the side.

It might just need version 1.1 for that build.

What's the issue with the holder? If it's a little loose you can just put some tape around your lens barrel and it will sit on it snug.
