the glass window that faces the projector seems dirty...it doesn't seem dirty when the machine is off and I cleaned it really well, but when the projector is running and the machine is printing, the glass seems very cloudy or smudgy when the light hits it.
is this normal? will it effect my prints? could it be dirty inside the machine?
besides the smudged looking glass, how best should I deal with dust? my machine is in a rather dusty environment and I sometimes use canned air to dust it off and now im worried maybe I blew dirt inside the machine somehow and those smudges are on the inside of the glass and the reason why they don't seem to clean off?

Re: cleaning the glass?
I just spray glass cleaner on a PEC pad and clean the quartz. It sounds like you might have gotten resin on the quartz. If so put some Isopropyl alcohol on aPEC pad to clean it. Take care to not put lots of pressure on the quartz while cleaning. I to am in a dusty environment with buffers and polisher close to my printing area. I built a enclosure for my printers. I leave it closed when they are not in use and open the fronts when I am printing. I will tell you this the cleaner everything is the fewer issues you will have. I am a sticker on keeping all my printing equipment very clean.

It might be dust on the inside of the quartz. I had a lot of problems with the prints failing last year because of dust on the quartz, mirror and glass, plus the projector. One problem is the front of the project is blowing straight in the edge of the printer.

Re: cleaning the glass?
Dust is not an issue unless you got a ton of it in there somehow. No the projector doesn't blow inside the printer. It blows next to it. If you have dust under the glass, you will need to open the printer to clean it. On the mirror it doesn't matter as much because we don't focus on the mirror. Again, as long as it's not an abnormal amount of dust for some reason.
