projector will not shut down through program

I had a problem with my projector not shutting down with the previous version of software. I found a way to accomplish this by trial and error. Since I downloaded the new version of contour, it never shuts down. In the previous version I had to have the projector connected when Contour was booted up. If I connected it later, it would not shut down. That no longer works. Any ideas?

Go to File > setup> connect projector
then see the log of checks the software goes through. It could be the wrong comm port

Problem solved. When I loaded the update software, the projector changed to the default projector. Seems Ok now.
