I am having problems opening larger STL files (75 to 125 MB files) in Contour. The program stops working and the error message only says that the program has encounter a problem. I am working on a large chalice and some of the pieces are complex. I have broken the pieces down as small as I can. I have seen pictures of users printing large items in the gallery, so I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong. Can anyone give me some advice?
Thank you,
Joseph

Re: problems with large STL files
Joseph,
Do you have contour also installed on your main workstation? If not, install it and contact info@junction3d.com to activate it. Then try opening the file on your workstation. If it works, then your laptop may need more memory to handle the complex file.
