I have a few two tone helicoil rings to finish up for next week. This will be the white gold helicoil insert. there will be a yellow gold cap on each end of the helicoil. Designed with a constant .5mm overall wall thickness and so the only support needed is the .5 mm fin support around the bottom.

Mark, Absolutely outstanding !!!!
What resolution do you normally use , 48x27 or 80x45 ? Reason I ask, a few post back you showed your settings for 80x45.......I've had a issue growing a 12 mm wide ring size 13+ and it took up the whole scene. Should I have switched to 80x45? Thanks...>David

Hey David
He has 2 printers. One set up for each size.
If you have room all around the ring, it should print fine. Just use a lot of supports. Even half way up on side of ring to keep it from sagging mid print.
