Hey guys,
I would like to share with you few prints we are doing at Awaken Realms. Solus is amazing to use at miniature market and the level of details is amazing.
For a better view I will show already printed, cast and painted pieces ; )

That is incredible work right there! Shows that Solus can be used for other things besides jewelry

Fantastic work and very good painting
Did you sculpt them in Zbrush?
André.

Re: Awaken Realms miniatures prints
Yup, we are sculpting most of our stuff with either zBrush or Maya.

Re: Awaken Realms miniatures prints
Are you making a mold in silicon?
And what is the process of the resin casting?
I only cast in metal so I don't know anything about it, some info would be appreciated
Thanks in advance.
André.

Re: Awaken Realms miniatures prints
Some of you guys wanted to see print, not the cast or painted model.
With yellow pigment it does not look good (+still wet) BUT! You can see this one will be pretty big and pretty cool. I assure you, it will have pretty cool details as well.
Size is pushed to the very limit of solus height
@Tiger
Well, it is a long story. But yes, we are making silicon molds and then cast in resin. It is pretty easy to start, but to get everything right in terms of design and not getting air bubbles is pain in the ass ; )
As for the metal cast - I was always wondering - what is the starting cost to do some metal cast?
