Yes, it's possible. Have you watched the video?

I have yet to download the beta version.

I would like to but think I would need a mouse for better control.

My problem is I only have two usb ports on the acer laptop which are being used by the printer and projector.

Will it be okay at add a usb hub without causing problems?

Thank you for you reply.

Yes, you can use a usb hub. Just connect the Solus to one of the ports and the hub to the other. Or you can use a bluetooth wireless mouse.

You caught me, I jumped right in without watching the video :) So I watched it and its just right clicking and deselecting automated supports. I think the vid is a tad bit long but ehhh it does the job

Supports are not part of the stable release and out of just being a beta!

You can update to v1.3 today!

We will continue to release beta updates for anyone who wants to try the new features and test them before the next stable release.

I buy a new laptop, it will be easier! But I'm still interested by a baseplate :D

I download and tried out v1.3 today
Amazing! what time saver.
I would have never guessed I could print with with the supports generated from the automatic feature.
Worked great!

Glad you liked it Michael!

Yes, it was very important to us to have automatic supports that are intelligent (and they will get a lot better with future updates), instead of just being straight lines that bombard the model with supports.

The goal was to make them seem like manually and carefully placed.

Used Auto Supports for the first time today.
"Freaking awesome."
Glad I don't have to be looking at the model from so many angles to see where I need to put supports.
Great Auto support system.

Thanks You, Emil and crew.

tried the update last week and it worked great, but came to use it today to print multiple rings and it just keeps crashing whilst I’m checking the slices, have restarted the software and my comp a few times now and tried reopening the single files and supporting them again and saving as a solus file still no luck, I need to get this working as I have 50 rings to print, I can fit 5 at a time but will still take me a week to print everything if I can get 2 prints on a day,
