I had some success when I turned up the exposure to 2.8 on 25z & level3 light. Then failure when I tried the same print on 10z with 2.8exposure and it took quite a while.

Seems like your projector bulb might be weaker. Print at 25z. 10z is really only beneficial for flat objects. Bumping up the exposure time a little should help you.

I was initially having the same issues with SolusCast on standard setting. Moving the light intensity up to max, adding a second to settle time and an extra mm to lift height solved all problems. I hardly ever get fails. Although I do also replace my film differently than the advised method 8-)

Ps - this is at the larger build size and 30z

I follow Jordi’s (Micron3d) video method but without the plastic spacer. Screw the tank down nice and tight with the thumb screws - I think that’s the key.

I also write ‘front’ on the front side of the tank, so that it’s always placed in the same orientation.

This method only seems to work for me with the aluminium tank. The plastic ones are too flexible.

When I screw down the vat for printing, I just tighten until there is no more wobble from the thumb screws. I check this by flicking them with my fingernail.

This method is NOT advised by Solus/Reify so should be carried out at the users own risk.

Thank You Jack. I'll do just that. I had been trying to print at 4 light setting but have had more weird failures although I had some success at level 3. I haven't been back at it as I had to switch resins to get some stuff done. So I'll try what you prescribe, and post back.
