I agree , long sit time , but the whole weekend seem excessive to me , I do overnight , I think manufacturer says 2 hours is enough , but I find that to lack , which is why I do overnight , Iv also heard that investment can crack if too dry ?? I was just wondering if this was intentional ?

I use something similar to https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Heating-Element-Heater-Warmers/dp/B078NCMJGL/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1528911842&sr=8-7&keywords=5V+Carbon+Fiber+Heating+Pad to keep bottles warm. Just wrap them up with a couple of rubber bands, plug into a Samsung 2amp wall charger, and you're good.

with emeral, when it sits to long ( over the weekend) the castings are really bad.
we get the best results when we let the flask rest for 5 hours before ramp up !
But as i said thats our experience with the emerald !

I think that has more to do with the type of investment , not so much the type of resin ? , what kind of investment do you use ?

I thought it was understood. I invested it Friday evening and was off of work until Monday when I cast it. I usually delay the oven starting for 5 hours. I dont leave it that long every time, I was just off work and didnt feel like coming back into the store over the weekend.
I do use Optima investment. I also find the longer it dries the better

Hey Email/Mark. Is SolusWax ok to rinse in IPA for 30-40 sec, or is there a better method to rinse off parts before UV curing?

Yes. IPA is fine. I do about 15 seconds or so of agitation.

so I still haven't received my soulwax , its on its way , but I would like to here about how well it grows , any fails ? does it grow as essay as soulcast ? I wouldn't want multiple fails , is the resin difficult to remove from bottle , as Emil said to warm it up and mix before you pour it out ? I always have trouble growing the green on my machine , I hope SW is as easy to grow as the soulcast . any info. ??
