How old is your projector bulb and how many hours? We are working on a solution to improve the sticking to the build plate, but yes brushing on some other casting resin on the build platform helps it to stick.

Here are some test castings that are done not by us, or by large casting houses, but by your fellow Solus users. More to come soon.

Before i bought SolusCast i asked Jordi if i could buy a smaple bottle to test the resin because i saw that Junctioned3d was selling sample bottles. Unfortunately, Jordi told me that they were only selling 1L bottles so i bought that.

So please make available samples bottles for Europe too. Not sample prints, as we would like to test printing and also curing with our own equipment ( i have the Solus curing unit).

Thank you.

Have new bulb on order. When we talked Monday evening fixing my new install of my tilt motor I had around 1800 hours. You changed some exposure settings. Prints are hit and miss. I find if I have several models that ones closest to the tilt side will fail more often than ones on the far side. Printing the larger print size. 80x45.

Not sure about using the SolusCast turbo on the new Solus Wax resin. Hopefully Emil will perfect the settings.

Moved your posts into a separate thread, because this is a SolusWax thread.

Is UV the only way to cure the Solus Wax? Really don't want to purchase another cure box. I get done printing a lot of times just before closing. Would like to take home and cure them. I do all my casting at home.

Yes. But it really requires very little curing if any. 15-20 min should be enough.

I have a test cast of Solus Wax in the oven for tomorrow morning. One is cured, one is not. Two identical rings, clipped a prong on the uncured ring. Will see in the morning, not sure if I will cast in white or yellow gold. See what I feel like in the morning.
