Len,

Once the profile are ready we will push a new beta update and it will include those in there.

Most likely Monday or Tuesday.

I've been using EastCastHD for a few weeks now. It prints nice and cast nice, it has replaced B9 Emerald for my printing/casting. If Emerald is an 8/10 EasyCastHD is an 8.5 or 9/10. I do get some sticking to the film occasionally but then I'm using my own settings. When the settings update is out those settings will be used.

How does the EasycastHD curing and burnout compare to the Emeralds? Do you use the same curing methods with UV and boiling in microwave?

Here is my major curing secret that works perfectly for emerald or EasyCastHD.

Print, tap rinse, alcohol swirl, tap rinse, toaster oven 20mins at 325, then UV for 30mins min to an hour, add boric to platicast and you will never have an issue.

Trust me, that method is foolproof.

The secret to curing this well and having a great casting is to cure it inside a jar of ICE COLD water under 405nm UV light for 1-2 hours.

Never had a bad casting. Even using regular plasticast.

I'll try that. I hate digging out cast from the boric acid mix.

Emerald can handle 0.2mm sphere tip supports on 42 xy.
Is this possible with EasyCast HD?

I don't see why not. I don't recommend anchoring down the model using such small support tips and especially sphere supports, but for small detail areas, it should be fine.

I got a trial bottle a few weeks ago from Canada. I can say now it is the resin we were all waiting for. just the perfect Resin from a finely detailed print to the heaviest piece you can print. In simpler words, It is a zillion time better than the Emerald. you won't be disappointed . Marc
