So far I like how well this resin prints and casts. This one takes a while to print- 7+ hrs@30Z but it's fun to look at.

Does anyone know the specific gravity of this resin?

Print 1cm^3 cube and weigh it. Then you have the specific gravity.

EDIT: Just got a new bottle. And in the MSDS it says on page 2: specific gravity 1.1g/cm^3 @25Celcius. But that might be as a liquid, maybe solid it changes slightly idk.

Everyone is raving about this material but I have had mixed results. Some very nice prints and some horrible failures with lots of little cured flakes and unbuilt supports. I am building at 25XY-30Z as I always have. Don't feel confident to commit to 1kg of this material at this stage.

Making the switch to 42XY-30Z. I have always wanted to print bigger and I will order some EasyCastHD today.

Now printing with EasyCastHD at 42XY and super impressed with the detail and quality of the results. Have ordered a UV chamber for curing so should be full steam ahead.

Don’t forget the glycerin. Best to cure it submerged in glycerin under uv. Makes all the difference for casting.

Just about done with EasyCastHD. Three prints, same data, two materials, one success. Everytime I have a print failure it is disrupting my work flow. To me emerald resin is still the gold standard and better than the brown.

I've been getting great results with the SolusCast.
