I can say now it is the resin we were all waiting for. just the perfect Resin from a finely detailed print to the heaviest piece you can print. How about casting? What is the quality? And most important, do you use the same burnout as the Emerald?

What is the burnout schedule for this resin? I can't find the info on their site and none came with the sample I got from them. I haven't used Emerald resin, so I don't have that to model a schedule after.

We casted using Plasticast using their recommended burnout schedule. https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/cc5f22_5 ... 747e7e.pdf

Having said that, various other burnout schedules will work, depending on which investment you're using.

A customer told me ResinWorks recommended a straight ramp up to 1425F, holding for 3-4 hours and then down to casting temp, which worked well. We haven't tested this burnout.

I think that is very similar to the burnout recommended for Prestige Optima investment. The only thing I don't like about it is you can't effectively drain the sprue wax out using lower temperatures because it will catch fire in the kiln at high temps. If you try to flip the button upwards, wax shoots all over the interior of your kiln as it boils away along with the remaining water in the investment.

I like that fast ramp schedule! Thanks, I'll have to try both of those.
