Hello All! I hope everyone is doing well. I'm having problems with my new resin printing and it can get weird. I'll end up with 1 successful print surrounded by failures and I'm not sure what to do. In the pics 2 came out great while all others didn't stand a chance .Thanks for your help. -Reuben

The ones that failed were not supported properly.

Try supporting them a little better (change the angle, a little more support in some areas and overhangs) and you will see nothing but great prints.

Ok Thanks. What more could I have done on the bottom right design?

I just ran another print with supports all over and had all but 1 fail. And I'm looking at this Junction 3d post with few supports. Trying to figure it all out. Thanks.

How old your bulb? You may need to increase your layer exposure time a bit.

The junction3d printed rings don't need any supports in that case.

If you look at the bottoms of the successful prints, they have on the bottom more of the supports. On most engagement ring types I use the ring base and put 3 supports on the shank going up the side, seems to help a lot. Then I always try to add dead center of the top and wherever the green is on the inside of the ring and any overhangs. The band usually works well flat with a .50 mm rim under it. If you look up totally stoked on this site Mark Miller is the master of supports. You can learn a lot from his pictures. Len

I'm stiil not having success. I'm overloading the amount of supports and getting prints that fail in parts of them but succeed to the top on other parts even though they are mirrored designs with the same supports in the same places.

Make sure your optics are clean and then clean them again. Front window, top window, bottom of the film, lenses. Clean with alcohol and microfiber cloths.
