So what is up with SolusWax Pro?

I received an email from Junction 3D talking about the new SolusWax Pro resin as an improvement over the previous SolusWax, but haven't seen anything on this forum talking about it.

I am sure we are all 'burnt out' (pun intended) whenever a new castable resin comes along, but does anyone have anything to share about the resin? Experiences while printing, curing or casting? Photos showing off the detail of the prints? Pros or cons against the other castable resins mentioned on this forum?

Ordered the SolusWax Pro resin today.

Any casting pics from fellow users? (Not casting houses)

Can it handle 0.2mm sphere supports?

How does it compare in terms of printing reliability compared to the Emerald or the Proto?

Does it need to be heated?

Thank you.

Jeweltool did you get your bottle yet? I ordered a sample bottle also, hopefully I will get mine before next weekend. Crazy how expensive the stuff is. The pictures of the prints and castings look great! I've only used emerald b9c in the past but the soluswax looks to have just as crisp detail but with a smoother surface. I hope its easier to cast. Does anyone know if this resin can be used to make molds? heated to 307 F? or will it melt? Is there a large ratio of wax in this stuff?

Very good castings with SolusWax Pro.

I have tried a lot of resins over the years.

Much better than my go to B9 Cherry..

That's good to hear. Just received my bottle today. I hope to get a chance next week to test it.
