White slime with Emerald

Hey, anyone noticing some white slime with B9's Emerald?
I'm sometimes getting it sticking to my models, and it's really been collecting in my alcohol rinse tub.
Normal? or weird?

You should NOT be using rubbing alcohol at all just rinse with water

I use 91% Isopropyl EVERY DAY. I have a small ultrasonic tank that has this in it, and it is ran without heat for 15-30 seconds on each build plate. I do this with every piece, every day. And I do this with B9's Black, Emerald and Cherry. The key is to change it out regularly and rinse very, very thoroughly. After rinsing I blow dry with compressed air between 15 and 20 PSI. When I do this, I have zero issues with my castings (Platinum, Gold and Silver). I will say this: do not leave it in the alcohol for extended periods of time as this will cause some issues down the road. No longer than 30 seconds.

I am having a similar problem. My first prints I dipped in 70% isopropyl alcohol then water and they turned out a nice green after curing. Now I'm getting white splotches & sometimes white all over the models. I've dumped and replaced my water and alcohol. Can someone please tell me the issue? Thanks.

I've seen the white when you use alcohol to do the initial clean, not get all of the uncured resin off of it, then attempt to use water as an inhibitor during UV cure.

I think it is a reaction between the alcohol, water and resin while exposed to near-UV light. It hasn't affected my casting as far as I can tell, but it sure looks ugly.

That is because you're using 70% alcohol.

Use 91% or higher.

Also, once you clean in alcohol, you shouldn't put the pieces in water (at least the b9 resin), or you will get those white splotches.

Like Ron mentioned, they don't impact the casting, so nothing to worry about anyway.

Do you have a step by step guide for curing the Emerald? seems that there are 80 ways from Friday to do so.
Started to get way to much shrinkage in a few models recently.

Step 1. Clean it in Alcohol for about 2 minutes, agitating the pieces in there to get the excess resin off.
Step 2. Air dry the pieces.
Step 2. Uv cure for about 1-2 hours depending on thickness of the pieces, making sure all sides cure well equally.

And no UV cure in water?
