Have you tried Yellow Magic? I got some yesterday and it's promising, but I doubt it does a better job than IPA.

But one interesting effect is that you can't "contaminate" the liquid. Instead the excess resin gets trapped in tiny spheres and that can be easily strained out. However after leaving it in there and agitating for 5 minutes, then washing the prints with water, they were still very tacky to the touch and you could see that some resin is left on.

The next thing to try is the ultrasonic. Might help.

Nah, I've stayed with the isopropyl. I do use an ultrasonic with water to hold the beaker with the alcohol bath.

I tried to call around to various chemical supply companies to try to get a hold of some tripopylene glycol methyl ether, which supposedly is supposed to be less hazardous than isopropyl or denatured per this document, but no company will sell it to an end user or a small business that is run out of a residence.

I just hate wasting the isopropyl when it gets loaded down with resin. Curing in UV usually just gives me a gelatinous mess and using a distillation setup seems like a recipe for an explosion. ;)

I found you can first strain the IPA through a coffee filter, then you get a cleaner mix that can be used for a while. Yes, curing under the sun will turn it into gel.

I use a two-stage rinse, with the second being cleaner alcohol. That does a pretty good cleanse and as the first stage gets too much resin in it, I dispose of it, put the second stage alcohol in the first stage bottle and replenish the second stage with fresh alcohol. Works out pretty good and helps get the models pretty clean.

I do use a 190 micron paint filter someone recommended from Amazon to get some of the smaller solids that wash off the prints, but it still seems to load up fast with the uncured liquid. :( I need like a centrifuge with UV light to spin the cured resin out of the alcohol. :D

I got my Solus 3d printer set up and ready to go, but..... I had not ordered b9 emerald resin.
Excited and ready to start printing I said what the heck, I will put the Formlabs castable and see how it goes.
Used settings for b9 emerald for the ring and it was over exposed, "That only means that the exposure time is much shorter."
Long story short, 2.7 seconds to 1.0 seconds exposure time, that is fast. I think It is till a little over exposed, but we are talking about splitting hairs.
When I get b9 emerald I will compare it.

Pictures I have seen of B9 emerald are great (I cant wait to print with b9 emerald) and faster results from Formlabs castable are also great.
I feel that it comes down to what one wants, cheaper resin or faster higher price resin.
Good choices for everyone!!!

The model is made to set 1mm round diamonds on the side.

That impression looks very good, I have a bit of resin castable form2 Can you share a screenshot of the co figuration you are using? to achieve that print quality

Esa impresión se ve muy bien, yo tengo un poco de resina form2 castable ¿Puedes compartir una captura de pantalla de la co figuración que estás usando? para lograr esa calidad de impresión.
