Prototype Resins

Postby steels » Tue Jan 31, 2017 1:58 pm

What is a good resin for creating prototypes? We've recently stepped up and got a solidscape, but I want to continue using the Solus to make quick prototypes for the customer to handle (without breaking) and have a good visual of the detail of each item. I am currently using and casting with WaxCast, but it is too brittle for the customer to handle and they can't see the detail. I am thinking a black or gray color would be best, but not sure.
So I am looking for the following:

Quick grow times
good visibility of detail
strong and durable, flexible is ok too
does not have to be castable

I would also need the settings for Solus software
Thanks,
Blake
