Any cast samples from Heavy Large Signet Rings - 5-6 grams of resin in 1 ring would be a good sample.

OK, hate to be the one to bring this up but I'm, sure others are thinking this too. This will give you a place to sell us on SolusCast.

I want to be sold on this, please sell me on it.

My question/concern.
Why would I want to pay $100 more than Emerald when my emerald prints are good and my cast are perfect? Shaking emerald is not an issue for me. Printing at 10 micron probably would not be need plus the prints would take twice as long.

the blue is much stronger and because of this the supports can be much smaller , less fails than the green , green was made for B9 and the blue for soulus , so ea. resin will work best with their own machine , 100.00 is not much more compared to resins that cost 700.00 per L. and besides , In my opinion , having been a tester of the blue , the detail is sharper , so you are paying for better quality , however if you like the green , there will be more blue for me to buy , Im not knocking the green , but just try the blue then see the difference , if you dont like it , I will buy yours , Also casts great , again in my opinion , the same or better than the green

Jim,

If you're happy with the emerald, you are still able to use it. Solus is an open platform and we don't restrict people from using other materials.

With our resins we are offering an alternative that we think is much better in many ways. Better print quality, details, success rate, reliability and much much more. If you have ever printed with the SolusProto resin you should know that our resins are on another level and well justify the slight price increase. You're paying for quality.

We have already sold a lot of this new resin in the past 2 days, so others must feel that they do want something better than what's currently available from third party resin makers.

Alright, well I'm almost out of Emerald. I'll try the SolusCast for my next purchase. More detail is always welcome.

My biggest issue with Emerald is holding engravings inside a ring. It's so ify that I am not comfortable selling my items with cast inside engravings. My guess is expansion of Emerald during burnout is busting the delicate engravings.

Is SolusCast better at holding inside engravings?

I believe that small tex in resin casting is very hard to cast no matter the resin , its just the nature of casting , wax works better ( mold ) or engraving after cast , small tex like on a shank thats 2 or 2.5 mm is a problem many users on all forum always asking for help , and not only on shanks but on disk plates , pendants or rings , grad rings are usually larger and have larger tex , that always helps , but even then is still hard , not to say it isn't possible to cast , but just to say TEX is a difficult thing to do with many variables , however , lets see who the Blue does ??
