I put flask in room temp oven then ramp to 800 as fast as oven will go then hold for 1 1/2 h
Then ramp at 1200 per hour to 1500 and hold for 4 hours
Then ramp at 1000per hour to 950 and hold for casting.

This is white gold with optima done close to time and temps stated above. This is the ruff casting. just cleaned in ultrasonic. Thin wall on this ring.

Sterling silver casting it came out just like this from the flask a minute or two in ultrasonic to get investment out of pieces.

Your white should come out the same unless the metal was to cool or to hot. The burnout is the same. very nice castings. The flashing is either due to to high a temp..(Doubtful) Or poor investment mixing or to much water in the mix.

I didn't have any flashing but what looks like flashing is the contact points from growing which I find easier to clean in metal. I figured that the white gold casting was a design/spruing issue but got that one almost done. Thanks for all the advice and support.
