Casting resins!
I tried several different burning cycles and images below shows the best result so far I managed to get from casting resin directly.
This time I used 6 hours burning cycle recommended by Reifi, or Mark (Solus guru). There is some cherry resin prints and some emerald. Cherry looks like cast better then emerald. Some of the print have been done one B9 some on solus I own both.
I kept models under UV light for about 12 hours
Plasticast investment ratio 38/100 (using cimo vacum mixer)
I left investment to settle over night , without rubber base.
I use large Kiln named Argenta, no extra holes or other modifications. only the vents at the top.
6 hour burning cycle has been used.
Any suggestion for improving casting would be highly appreciated? The only thing in my mind I have is to keep curing model for longer. It would be interesting to know what is the average curing time you guy use when curing with simple nail curing unit? I'm thinking of getting now b9 curing unit, to reduce headaches. Does any of you have any feedback?
Thanks,
