I just set up the machine for the 42 XY configuration using the new fixed baseplate however I cannot seem to align the grid up.
The projected grid seems to fall off the right hand side no matter what I do to align things.
My only other thought is that there could be old projector settings that are affecting things?
Is there a software reset that puts all the PROJECTOR values back to zero so you can start fresh?
Things would be great if I could shift the entire thing over a mm or two

Which mount are you using? The regular mounts have elongated holes on the part that attaches to the bottom of the projector. You need to loosen the screws and push the mount to the opposite side and then tighten.
If you have the solid mount, loosen the thumb screws under the projector and wiggle it to line it up. Then tighten them again.

I'm guessing you did measure the grid with a ruler to be sure it measures the correct length and width? Using the big focus wheel.

Mine does that too. The part of the arm that clips the printer into the projector on mine has a bit of movement. I twist my printer a little and it all fits in.
