The Solus resin tank does not require much maintenance.
Cleanup:
-After the print is done, its recommended to leave the resin inside the tank.
-Store the tank in a plastic bag and put in a box or a dark closet away from natural light.
New print:
-When printing again, mix the resin in the tank gently with the plastic mixing stick or a soft spatula, to work the pigment that may have settled back into the resin. Mix it until the resin is one solid color and all the pigment has been integrated back. Don't forget the edges of the inside of the tank.
What NOT to do:
-Avoid touching the film with your fingers (bottom or top of it)
-Never use alcohol, soap water, or anything else to clean the film.
-Never wipe the film with a paper towel. Paper towels are abrasive and can dull the film and affect the prints causing failures.
What to do:
-If you have to wipe/clean the bottom of the tank / film. Only use a soft microfiber cloth or PEC PADS (http://www.amazon.com/PEC-PAD-Lint-Free ... 0001M6K24/).
-If some resin is smeared on the bottom of the tank / film, you may also add some alcohol (can be only used on the outside/bottom of the tank, NOT on the inside) on the microfiber cloth or pec pads to clean the film. However let the film dry before printing with the tank.
