To make sure the Optoma HD37 projector turns off automatically using the serial-usb (R232) cable, after the print has finished, follow these instructions:
1. Plug the supplied USB to RS232 cable into your computer and projector.
2. In the Configure, Configure Machine tab tick the Enable Serial checkbox. Click the configure port button and select the COM port for you projector control.
3. Make sure you are not selecting your printer COM port. Set the baud rate to 9600 and # data bits to 8. Click OK. Confirm your projector is Display2. Click Apply Changes and connect CW using the Connect Icon.
4. Open the windows Device Manager, scroll to ports, and right click on the USB-SERIAL CH340, then click on Properties. Click on the Port Settings tab, then click on Advanced. Uncheck the box 'Use FiFo buffers...'. Press Ok.
5. In Creation Workshop, click on the CONTROL tab, then under Projector Control click on the Edit Commands. Click on the Off command and change the Hex Command to: 7E3030303020300D
Press Apply and Done
To test, you can select the Display2 from the first drop-down box under the projector control, then from the second box select the Off command and press Send. A few moments later your projector should start turning off.
