Removing resin under the quartz edge
Not sure if anyone is here nowadays but asking anyway. I had a film fail and a small amount of resin made its way down the edge of the quartz. Two questions: 1 - will this affect the tilt working? 2 - is it possible for me to remove the quartz and clean that out? BTW...into my 6th year with the orig...

Re: Cleaning inside of vivitek projector?
This is what Mark sent me when I asked him the same question a few years ago regarding cleaning the mirror. In the end I used a camera sensor wipe kit to clean my mirror once I had it open. Worked perfectly. "Here is a video on how to replace the old tilt motor that shows how to open it: https:...

Re: CAST HELP ASAP PLS!!!!!!!! NEW TO CASTING
you might want to try the PROCAD barrier liquid. This stuff is amazing! Thanks for the tip Ken, might be good for larger pieces that I sometimes get issues with. Smaller stuff the Solus Wax Pro is really good. This forum is very quiet, I drop in every couple of months or so I guess. I think a sign ...

Re: Solus Wax Pro resin - formula changed?

I am printing fine with the old settings with my now quite old bulb getting weaker so will not try to print faster. It is ...

Solus Wax Pro resin - formula changed?
I have just started using a fresh bottle of Solus Wax Pro. The last bottle lasted me a bit over a year. I do not print that much. The resin seems to be a different colour and printing better. It is also casting better and not sweating as much after printing. Some questions I have...... has the formu...

Hope you are well Mark. Glad to hear that as I love my original format Solus. It is now a year older than my Asiga lived to

Re: CAST HELP ASAP PLS!!!!!!!! NEW TO CASTING
I only use IPA less than 2min after printig. IPA and blow dry. No water. Then UV oven 10min/side. Flask sits 2-3h before starting to heat. 2 minutes sounds too long to me. The surface of SWP is more delicate than B9 IMO. I agitate each piece individually in IPA for about 10-20 seconds then ultrason...
